This course comprises comprehensive content for diabetes management. The 18 learning modules together with practice cases will allow you to learn how to manage diabetes for your patients.

It is a self-paced course and should be finished in 18 weeks (1 module + 1 practice case per week).

Yes, you can track your progress in the My Progress section.

The courses have been designed in a specific sequence to help you better learn about the disease and its management. Therefore, to be able to go to the next module you must finish the previous one.

There are two ways to resume your course. If you have left the course midway and have logged out, you can come back and the screen will show a pop up asking if you would like to continue where you left or you can go to My Progress section and continue from where you left.

Yes, you can stop or pause your learning module halfway and continue from where you left.

Your certificate of completion signed by ADA will be delivered to you once you have completed all the 3 courses (modules and related practice cases).

Each course comprises of 6 modules which individually take 30-40 minutes from start to finish.

You must update to the newest version of whatever browser you are using. We recommend using Chrome, Firefox or Safari, beta versions of browsers are not supported and Internet Explorer is problematic. Please make sure that your web browser has JavaScript and cookies enabled.

Do I really need a headset?
Yes, all the course modules consist of voice over, however you have an option to mute the voice and read the voice over transcript.
Do I need a webcam?
Webcam is not a requirement to access the course.
